While connotations associated with red vary all over the world, the color red is generally viewed as positive. Red is very important in China, and is worn at the Chinese New Year and by brides to symbolize good luck. Red is also associated with the English because of the standard red phone booths and double-decker busses.
Increased heart rate, enthusiasm, and inspiring are all physiological characteristics the color red evokes. Companies such as Coca-Cola and Red Bull use these reactions to their advantage by using red in their logos and branding materials.
